Student Representatives at each University to Support you During your Whole Education
As part of our services, we have student representatives at each of our partner universities. Moving to a different country to study will obviously make an overwhelming transitional period; learning to adapt to new ways of teaching, as well as living away from home. Tutelage Ltd’s student representatives will help you settle in and to answer any questions you might have.
Representatives will aim to meet on a regular basis to discuss a wide range of issues such as new ways of studying, settling into accommodation, budgeting, module choices, assignments, essays and exams etc. You can ask questions which are not covered in the course handbook and will get reliable and relevant advice from student representatives.
For information or enquiries about student representatives, please contact us on email@example.com or call call 020 3617 1785, where a Tutelage advisor will further assist you.
Assistance with GMC and GDC Registrations After Graduation
Most of our UK students study Medicine or Dentistry at our partner universities with the aim of coming back to the UK to practice; meaning that they must be registered in order to legally work as a doctor or dentist. After completing your studies, graduating and obtaining a Medical degree, we provide assistance with the registration at the UK General Medical Council (GMC). Those students who have a Dental degree, must register at the General Dental Council (GDC) in order to start practicing in the UK.
For more information on registering please visit the GMC and GDC website:

Guidance in Applying for FY2 in the UK
As mentioned before, one of the advantages of studying Medicine at a European University is that they are GMC approved; meaning that you can come back to the UK and work straight away. With Tutelage Ltd, we can register you with GMC at FY2 as FY1 would have been covered in your final year of Medical studies. If you were to graduate with a Medical degree from a university within the UK, you would have had to register for both FY1 and FY2 in order to start practicing. For more information with regards to the training programme visit http://www.gmc-uk.org/education/postgraduate/foundation_programme.asp

Whenever you decide to do this, don’t forget to include studying abroad as an experience on your CV. It is a sign of ‘intercultural competence’ that appeals to potential. Think about all the skills you would have gained throughout your studies and what you learned while abroad. You all know competitive Medical courses and Dental courses are here in the UK and that is exactly the same when applying for a graduate or full time job. At Tutelage Ltd, we offer workshops and one to one sessions on interview practice and CV editing. Having mock interviews will give you an understanding on the different type of questions employers may ask; as well as identify where your strengths and weaknesses lie. Our workshops will give you the opportunity to sell yourself and practice your interview skills; giving you the confidence you need to walk into an interview and leave knowing that you gave your absolute best.
Our Tutelage advisors will provide you with critical feedback and will carry on working on your skills until we believe you are prepped just in time for your interview day. You will also be able to speak to fellow students who have already gone through the process and gain expert advice from those who have already passed the interviews and landed their first career!
